The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has announced the program for its 2026 Regional Symposium for Europe and Africa Webinar Series, which will take place across five days on 9–11 June and 16–17 June 2026.

The Webinar Series will replace the previously cancelled in-person Regional Symposiums for Europe and Africa and will focus on preparing anti-doping stakeholders for the implementation of the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards.

According to WADA, registration will open on 25 May 2026, when participants will also gain access to supporting materials, including pre-recorded technical presentations designed to be reviewed ahead of the live sessions.

The program will feature ten core webinars covering key areas of the 2027 Code and Standards, including athlete-centered changes, NADO operational independence, compliance, testing, intelligence and investigations, data protection, Therapeutic Use Exemptions, education, and results management.

Each webinar will combine an advance pre-recorded presentation by technical experts with a 75-minute live interactive session, featuring key highlights, practitioner perspectives from Europe and/or Africa, and a question-and-answer segment.

The Webinar Series will open on 9 June with a welcome address and a session dedicated to the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code. Additional sessions will continue through 17 June, concluding with a webinar on the International Standard for Results Management.

WADA has also announced supplementary sessions, including an IOC session on manipulation in sport scheduled for 22 June, as well as government-only UNESCO COP10 sessions for Africa and Europe, with dates to be confirmed.

WADA noted that its 2026 Regional Symposiums and Webinar Series are structured around the Code Implementation Support Program, with a strong emphasis on compliance readiness ahead of the 2027 anti-doping framework. While the Webinar Series has been developed specifically in lieu of the Europe and Africa Regional Symposiums, WADA indicated that materials will be available to all stakeholders, and participants from other regions will also be able to register and attend the live sessions.

The Regional Symposiums for Asia/Oceania, to be held in Beijing on 2–3 June, and for the Americas, scheduled for Lima on 13–14 August, will proceed as planned.
